RULES AND PROCEDURES
Rules and procedures for SGA Executive Elections are located in these three documents. PLEASE REVIEW CAREFULLY.
Official documents published 1/30/26. Any misconduct or violation after 1/30/26 are eligible for review and candidate disqualification.
If you are running for a position in the SGA Executive Cabinet, or if you are assisting someone running for a position in the Executive Cabinet, please review the rules carefully. Campaign Teams will be held accountable for the actions of their members.
ELECTION TIMELINE
MONDAY 1/26 TUESDAY 1/27, & WEDNESDAY 1/28

INTEREST MEETING: Monday, January 26 at 11:00am

INTEREST MEETING: Tuesday, January 27 at 11:00am

INTEREST MEETING: Wednesday, January 28 at 11:00am
*You only have to attend ONE Interest Meeting in order to petition. All meetings will be held in the SGA Conference Room (Room 32, in the Lower Level of the Campus Center)
MONDAY 2/23
CAMPAIGN PETITION: Due at 11:00 am in The President's Office
WEDNESDAY 3/4
Campaigning starts at 6pm
*Campaign Materials must be approved by the Elections Chair (PJ Martinez) before you post on social media, put out campaign material on campus, etc.
Campaign Forum Q&A with the Senate in COBA 201 at 5:00pm
TUESDAY 3/17
Candidate Interviews/Debates during chapel in Boone Family Theater at 11:00am
VOTING: TUESDAY 3/17 @12pm - Friday 3/20 @3pm

THE ELECTION CHAIR
The chief authority for interpreting and enforcing the rules and procedures is the Elections Chair. The Elections Chair presides over the Elections Committee.

If you have any graphics, logos, slogans, or campaign material you plan to use for your campaign, please email it to PJ Martinez before distributing. You can submit materials as soon as your candidacy is approved
