Tamil is the President of SGA at ACU. She is a senior from Lagos, Nigeria, and Midland, Texas, majoring in Criminal Justice. Tamil has been actively involved in SGA since her freshman year, previously serving as Vice President, Senator, and Director of Student Engagement and Recruitment on the executive team.

Beyond SGA, Tamil has been involved in many areas of campus life. She has competed on the ACU Debate Team, served as President of both the Black Student Union and Omicron Xi Chi sorority, and participated in Pre-Law Society, Gospel Choir, University Chorale, and Sanctify Hip Hop Company, among other groups. She is also a member of the Honors College, worked as a student director for Wildcat Week, served as an RA in Nelson Hall for two years, studied abroad with ACU’s Communication Department in Leipzig, and currently works at Wildcat Central.

Outside of school, Tamil enjoys attending Macedonia Baptist Church, laughing, singing, chatting, traveling, and spending time with friends.
